Open/Closed Display Yext Widget

• Effective 11/23/20
• The Open/Closed widget is an alternative option to display the Yext Business Hours.
• Based on the business hours entered into the clients Knowledge Graph the Open/Closed widget will display if the business is open, closed, opening soon, or open 24-hours.
• Note, Closing Soon appears 30 min before closing.
  

• The desktop Open/Closed widget is displayed under the hero CTA button(s)
• The Open/Closed widget is included in all hero sections
• Note, if manually adding Yext widget ensure you properly remove default script.
• The mobile Open/Closed widget is displayed under the hero motivating factors.
• By request, the build and CS teams may add Open/Closed widget to the header, footer, internal page right gutters, or contact us page.
• The build and CS teams may update widget Open, Closed, and Closing Soon colors.
• If the client's color palette includes or features variations of green, then build may use that green in place of default open and open 24 hours colors
• If the client's color palette includes or features variations of red, then build may use that red in place of default closed color
• If the client's color palette includes or features variations of orange, then build may use that orange in place of default opening soon color.
  
• Note, no other colors other than variations of green, red, and orange may be used.
• There are no options to change the text i.e. Open 24 hours changed to 24 Hour Emergency Services
• The Open/Closed widget may be added to any previously published Smart Site
• The Open/Closed widget also reads the holiday hours and reflects if the business is closed

Motivating Factors

• If one of the motivating factors indicates open 24 hours, CW deletes the open/closed widget from the heroes.
